You are invited to join us for the annual Upper Midwest Osteopathic Health Conference!

The conference will be held in-person at the Embassy Suites in downtown Des Moines, May 4-6, 2023. Our 2023 conference will focus on obesity, emergency medicine, elder-care, and OMM! As always, our exhibit hall will feature the newest innovations from our industry partners, and our famous Emergency Medicine track will be held on Friday, May 5. New this year we will have:

  • 9+ hours of CME dedicated to obesity medicine and co-morbidities -- join us Thursday, May 4 for a deep dive into obesity. Iowa is in the 11th most-obese state in the United States and obesity rates continue to climb. We hope that this deep dive will give physicians confidence to approach this disease with their patients, provide up-to-date information on treatment and prevention options, and reduce the stigma associated with this disease.
  • 6 hours of hands-on OMM workshops -- join us Saturday, May 6 for deep dives into the Shoulder Girdle, Sacrum, and Fascial Distortion model as taught by Boyd Buser, DO, Drew Lewis, DO, and Jose Figueroa, DO, respectively! For specifics on timing, check out our schedule below!
  • Opportunities for hands-on simulations with the SIM-IA truck -- Simulation in Motion--Iowa (SIM-IA) answers a critical need for emergency and trauma related simulation training in rural areas of Iowa. This year IOMA and SIM-IA are partnering at the UMOHC to offer limited availability simulation training opportunities for our attendees on Saturday, May 6! For more information, check out our schedule!
  • New opportunities to engage with colleagues -- plan to join us 6:30-8:30pm on Friday, May 5 for a social outing in Des Moines! We will also be hosting round-table discussions throughout the conference as a way for attendees to connect with peers. More information to come!

Click here to view our conference schedule, the differences between tracks, and more information about SIM-IA! The schedule is being built to provide at least 24 hours of in-person AOA 1-A credit and your registration will allow you free access to at least 6 additional hours of CME online on-demand after the conference.

Don’t miss this terrific opportunity to learn and network with osteopathic thought leaders, Iowa DO peers, residents and students, as well as exhibitors and sponsors.

Exhibitor/Sponsor Information:

We invite your company to be a partner and exhibit your products and services at our 2023 Upper Midwest Osteopathic Health Conference.

Sponsorships present a great opportunity to get exclusive access to practicing osteopathic physicians from across the Midwest. Participating as a sponsor and/or exhibitor will allow you to reconnect with osteopathic physicians with whom you currently work and build new relationships with physicians, residents, and students.

The Exhibit Hall will be open the afternoon of Thursday, May 5th, and all day on Friday, May 6th. We will also be holding an exhibit hall reception for all attendees and exhibitors on Thursday, May 5th following the last lecture of the day.

Check out our 2023 Exhibitor Prospectus for information on the sponsorship and exhibitor levels for our 2023 Conference. Make sure to check out the Presenting Sponsor package, which includes the opportunity to sponsor a non-CME presentation over lunch, the Thursday Reception Sponsor add-on, which gives you the opportunity to have every exhibit hall reception guest visit your table, and the Friday Community Builder Sponsor add-on, which gives your staff exclusive access to our physicians during a non-CME social outing on Friday night.

The easiest way to register is through our online registration form. Alternatively, you can fill out a PDF version of the registration form (click here to download) and return it with your payment at your earliest convenience. If needed, we can work with you to complete any grant application requirements that your company may have.

Please reach out to Kevin Kruse (kevin@ioma.org or 515-282-8192 x410) if you have any questions. We want to make sure that we provide you with opportunities that best match your marketing needs, so if you have additional sponsorship proposals or ideas, please let us know.

Thanks for your support of IOMA and we look forward to seeing you in May!
