Objective: This presentation will review the changes in the surgical treatment of breast cancer. The participants will discuss the genomics and adjuvant therapy vs. neoadjuvant therapy.

Objective: The participants will have an introduction to robotic assistance in minimally invasive colorectal surgery. They will review the importance of mesorectal dissection planes for rectal cancer.

Objective: The majority of breast problems are benign and the management of these benign problems can be challenging. Knowledge of the medical and surgical therapies for these problems is imperative for good patient care.
2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Robotic Surgery – Past, Present and Future

Objective: The participants will be able to understand the past, present and future role of robotic surgery as it applies to the Da Vinci platform and to its role in general surgery as well as surgical subspecialties.
