On March 15th, Governor Reynolds announced that the State of Iowa is now in the mitigation phase to attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19 in Iowa. In addition, the CDC recently issues an interim guidance regarding large events and stated that they recommend that for the next 8 weeks, organizers cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 50 people or more throughout the United States.

The IOMA Board of Trustees will be meeting shortly to evaluate all options at this time regarding the Upper Midwest Osteopathic Health Conference (April 30-May 2). Contingency plans are being reviewed and board’s decision will be communicated and will also be posted on our website - www.ioma.org. If you decide to cancel your registration at this time, your registration fee will be refunded in full.

We recognize you represent the front line of healthcare and we take our role as your professional organization very seriously. In the interim, please let us know if you have any questions.
